Description: Cook up some tasty beef, chicken, shrimp or ground turkey tacos with Colorado Spice Taco Seasoning.
Chef's Recipe for Colorado Tacos Supreme: In a 10" saute pan, saute or grill 2 - 4 chicken breasts sliced into 2-3 inch strips 1/4" wide until done (or 1 lb of ground beef or ground chicken). Add entire package of Taco Seasoning, 1/2 small can diced chilies and 1 small can chopped, pitted black olives. Reduce heat, add 12oz of shredded cheese, and melt mixture together. Fill 12 raw corn or flour tortillas 1/4 full and garnish with any combination of lettuce, diced tomato, alfalfa sprouts, salsa (about 1/2 tsp each). Serve as is - OR - in a 10" straight edged frying pan, heat 2 cups canola oil (heated to about 350F). Hold filled but not garnished tortilla together at top, crease by heating for 20-30 seconds. Then lay folded tortilla in hot oil on each side until done - usually about 15-30 seconds. Garnish and serve.
Storage Instructions: In the case that there are remaining spices leftover in your Colorado Spice pouch, please seal in a Ziploc-style bag and store in a dark, cool, dry place. Use within 6 months.
