Chef's Recipe for Pork Chops: Entire contents of panko packet will generously cover 4 pork chops or 1lb of pork. Preheat oven to 400°F· Soak chops in buttermilk for 10 mins. Empty entire contents of panko packet into a shallow container. Take pork chops from the buttermilk, one at a time, let excess buttermilk drain back into bowl, then coat evenly on both sides, pressing the chop into the panko to help the seasoning adhere. Place on a baking sheet coated lightly with cooking oil· Bake for 8 mins, then flip and cook for another 5-7 mins or until well browned and cooked through, to a minimum internal temperature of 145º. Let stand uncovered 5-10 mins to crisp.
Alternate cooking method – You can also pan fry the pork chops in a skillet filled with ¼" layer of cooking oil; fry until crispy golden brown.
Storage Instructions: In the case that there are remaining spices leftover in your Colorado Spice pouch, please seal in a Ziploc-style bag and store in a dark, cool, dry place. Use within 6 months.
