Chef's Recipe for Orange Pepper Roasted Turkey: Remove organic pouch, wash bird under cold water and drain. Slice an onion into thick slices and place on roasting pan. Season bird by shaking 1/2 of the package of Orange Pepper into the cavity and shake bird over sink to coat the inside of the bird. Place bird on onions in roasting pan and sprinkle remaining 1/2 package of Orange Pepper over the entire bird. Seat the bird's legs under wire roasting frame or skewer into place with wooden BBQ kebobs. Roast at 3F for 25 minutes per pound for birds less than 12 pounds, and 2 minutes per pound for larger birds. Roast until juices run clear. Garnish with oranges & serve.
Storage Instructions: In the case that there are remaining spices leftover in your Colorado Spice pouch, please seal in a Ziploc-style bag and store in a dark, cool, dry place. Use within 6 months.
