Cajun Seafood Seasoning

Chef's Recipe for Cajun Seafood Seasoning: Pre-heat oven to 425F if oven frying. Or pour oil into fryer, heat to 375F or medium heat if deep frying. Pour seafood seasoning into a shallow dish. Pour buttermilk into another shallow dish. Drench fish fillet, both sides, in buttermilk. Shake off excess liquid. Season each fillet by pressing individually into the seasoning and turning over and coating the other side evenly. Fry coated fish fillets either in the oven on a greased baking dish until golden brown and it easily flakes, Or deep fry, place battered pieces into hot oil. Cook until golden brown 3-5 minutes, and flip to cook both sides. Use slotted spoon to remove from hot oil. Place on paper towel to drain.
Storage Instructions: In the case that there are remaining spices leftover in your Colorado Spice pouch, please seal in a Ziploc-style bag and store in a dark, cool, dry place. Use within 6 months.
