Chef's Recipe for Colorado Beef Fajitas: This is a versatile, delicious, and aromatic Argentinean marinade or sauce. As a marinade, use it on barbecued meats - it's especially good with steak. As a sauce, try it on any grilled foods - chicken, scallops, salmon or vegetables. Add it to rice, cauliflower rice or quinoa to make a flavorful side dish. Or add it to your favorite Bruschetta recipe. The options are endless!
- Pour contents of packet into a small bowl.
- Stir in 1/4 cup water; mix until all ingredients are hydrated.
- Stir in 1/3 cup olive oil.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate. If chilled, return to room temperature before serving. Can keep for a day or two.
Makes 3/4 cup. If using as a marinade - good for 3-5 lbs of meat. As a sauce - good for 4 servings.
Storage Instructions: In the case that there are remaining spices leftover in your Colorado Spice pouch, please seal in a Ziploc-style bag and store in a dark, cool, dry place. Use within 6 months.
