Chef's Recipe for Tomato Tarragon Broth: 1 Seasoning packet for 1lb of Mussels. Pour entire contents of seasoning packet into sauce pan, add 1 1/2 Cups white wine 9 (or water), mix thoroughly, add mussels. Bring to a boil and cover. Cook the mussels until all have opened, about 6 to 8 minutes, discard any that do not open. Mussels and broth are ready to enjoy! Optional: Remove mussels with a slotted spoon into large bowl. Bring liquid to a simmer and whisk in 1 Tablespoon butter, cook for another 5 minutes. Pour the mixture over the mussels and serve immediately with grilled bread. Zest it up more by adding cooked Italian sausage to broth while cooking mussels.
Storage Instructions: In the case that there are remaining spices leftover in your Colorado Spice pouch, please seal in a Ziploc-style bag and store in a dark, cool, dry place. Use within 6 months.
