Tomato Basil & Chipotle Rub

Description: This is one our Chef's fusion favorites. This blend is the perfect combination of Basil and tomatoes with Balsamic Vinegar powder and the smoky heat of Chipotle chilies! Use it on shrimp, red fish, chicken or pork!

Chef's Recipe for Tomato Basil & Chipotle Rub: Boil water and follow directions for al dente preparation of 12oz package of penne pasta. While waiting for pasta; clean, peel and de-vein 1 pound of 26-30 shrimp (or similar). When pasta is done drain, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and toss - set aside. In sauté pan heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil to hot and add cleaned shrimp and entire packet of seasoning. Add 1 chopped bell pepper, 1 chopped celery stalk and 2 small sliced carrots. Add 2 cups of heavy cream reduce heat and stir until thick. Pour over pasta and serve.

CUT 3 ripe avocados in half, remove pits, scoop out pulp and place in mixing bowl. ADD entire contents of spice packet to avocados. MASH to desired consistency making sure that spices are thoroughly mixed. SERVE with tortilla chips, tacos, on burgers or as a dip for vegetables. Best served at room temperature and eaten within 2 hours of preparation. VARIATIONS: Add ½ Cup chopped onion and 1 Cup chopped tomatoes to guacamole before serving OR mix entire contents of package with 16 oz. plain yogurt. Chill and serve with cut vegetables, chips or any of your favorite dippers.

INGREDIENTS: TOMATO, GARLIC, BALSAMIC VINEGAR (MALTODEXTRIN, BALSAMIC VINEGAR, FOOD STARCH-MODIFIED, NATURAL FLAVOR, MOLASSES AND CARAMEL COLOR), HONEY (REFINERY SYRUP, HONEY), SALT, ONION, CHIPOTLE CHILI PEPPER, BASIL, ROSEMARY, THYME.
